Frederick Cardoza ministered 20 years in church and parachurch ministries of all sizes, and has taught academically for more than 15 years at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Through Talbot School of Theology, Dr. Cardoza serves as chair of the Department of Christian Education’s undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. He is also Biola University’s Director of Distributed Learning and Instructional Technology, where he oversees the areas of distance and online learning, Blackboard, educational technology, and new digital-learning initiatives.

Dr. Cardoza is the executive administrator for the North American Professors of Christian Education (NAPCE), which is the academic society of evangelical professors representing some 200 seminaries, universities, and liberal arts colleges who teach in the areas of spiritual formation, Christian ministries, and Christian education.

Dr. Cardoza is also a member of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS) and the Religious Conference Management Association (RCMA), and serves as President of the Board for the Christian Worldview Leadership Academy in Kansas City.
