Welcome and Announcements
Opening Prayer & Gathering #391 Take My Life, vs. 1
Take my life, and let it be Consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days; Let them flow in ceaseless praise,
Let them flow in ceaseless praise.
Call to Worship (based on Lamentations 3:22 & 1 Peter 1:12)
This I call to mind, and therefore I have hope.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.
I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able.
He can keep that which I’ve committed unto him until his return.
Opening Hymn #2221 In Unity We Lift Our Song
(Please remain standing through the Gloria Patri)
Call to Confession
Our faith may be small, but God’s power is great. Our sins may loom large, but God’s promise of forgiveness is sure. Trusting that God is able to do for us what we could never do for ourselves, let us make our confession before the throne and one another.
Prayer of Confession
God of grace, we confess that the seed of faith within us is small. Hope is often absent. Love is frequently inconvenient. Our sin keeps us from responding to you. Tend to us in mercy, so that we may grow in the ways of faith, hope, and love, following the example of Jesus Christ our Lord who laid down his life for us all.
Assurance of Forgiveness and Exchange of Peace
The grace of God is given to us in Jesus Christ. This is good news!
In Jesus Christ we are forgiven!
May the peace of Christ be with you; And also with you.
Please exchange the peace of Christ with your neighbors.
Gloria Patri
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen.
Sermon for Faith Builders
Children are invited to go to Children’s Worship with our Children’s Ministry Coordinator, Ms. Marisa. They will return during the final hymn.

Prayer of Thanksgiving
The Lord be with you. And also with you.
Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right to give our thanks and praise.
Blessed are you, O Lord our God: We find hope in your great faithfulness, for your steadfast love never ceases and your mercies never come to an end. Therefore we praise you, joining the song of the universal church and the heavenly choir:
Holy, holy, holy Lord; God of power and might. Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.
Blessed is Jesus Christ, our Savior: Jesus teaches us the power of faith and calls us to a life of faithfulness, all for the glory of your holy name. Remembering your goodness and grace, we offer ourselves to you with gratitude as we share this joyful feast. Great is the mystery of faith: Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ shall come again.
Pour out your Holy Spirit upon us and upon this bread and cup; make us one in the body and blood of Jesus Christ our Lord. By your Spirit at work within us, keep us faithful to the gospel, proclaiming your grace, in word and deed, to the world abroad, and to people from throughout the world close to home. You desire that all will come to know that you are the Lord of the Universe, Creator of all that is seen and unseen, Savior of the world.
By this sacrament, pour into us your steadfast love, that we may pour it out to all from every tribe, tongue and nation, no matter where we encounter them. Lord have mercy. Give us the same mind as you: “For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Through the Lord Jesus Christ, in the unity of the Spirit, we bless you, God of glory,
now and forever.
