Opening Prayer & Gathering #738 O Master, Let Me Walk with Thee, vs. 1
O Master, let me walk with thee in lowly paths of service free;
tell me thy secret; help me bear the strain of toil, the fret of care.
Call to Worship (Psalm 95:1-3, 6)
Sage Milenkevich (rising 9th grader)
O come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
Opening Hymn #336 We Gather Together
(Please remain standing through the sung response)
Call to Confession Sienna Milenkevich (rising 11th grader)
We have been called to love our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves, but our lives are constricted and self-consumed. We have failed to love God, our neighbor and ourselves as we should. Let us make our good confession before God and others.
Prayer of Confession Sienna Milenkevich
Gracious and loving God, forgive us when turn a deaf ear to your call in Jesus Christ and to the cries of those in the world who need your love and our help. Forgive us when we treat discipleship as a yoke of oppression rather than a blessing and gift for leading a faithful life as your people. O Lord, forgive our sin. Help us to know and love you with all that we are that we may love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We pray for the strength of your Holy Spirit to equip us for our calling as followers of Jesus Christ, in whom we have our hope and put our trust. Amen.
Assurance of Forgiveness and Exchange of Peace Sienna
Jesus said, “I desire mercy, not sacrifice.” We have been blessed with God’s grace and mercy in abundance, through Jesus Christ. Know that we are forgiven, and be at peace!
May the peace of Christ be with you; And also with you.
Please exchange the peace of Christ with your neighbors.
Sung Response #447 We Are Forgiven
We are forgiven. We are forgiven. Thanks be to God. Thanks be to God. (Repeat)

Prayer of Thanksgiving
The Lord be with you. And also with you.
Lift up your hearts. We lift them to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. It is right to give our thanks and praise.
Blessed are you, O Lord our God: You shared a meal with Abraham and Sarah and promised them that in due season they would become the ancestors of a great people. Therefore we praise you, joining the song of the universal church and the heavenly choir, saying: Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might: Heaven and earth are full of your glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is the One who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is Jesus Christ, our Savior: To Christ you gave all honor and power and glory, and through him you give us the gift of eternal life, a place in your church for eternity, and the privilege of standing in your presence. We belong to Christ, and in Christ, we belong to you.
Remembering your goodness and grace, we offer ourselves to you with gratitude as we share this joyful feast. Great is the mystery of faith: Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ shall come again.
Pour out your Holy Spirit upon us and upon this bread and cup; make us one in the body and blood of Jesus Christ our Lord. Teach us to cast all our anxiety on you, for you care for us. Give us the discipline and strength to resist what is evil, so that we may shout with joy when Christ’s glory is revealed. Through the Lord Jesus Christ, in the unity of the Spirit, we bless you, God of glory, now and forever. Amen.
