Welcome and announcements

Passing Peace of Christ

Call to Worship 🙌

To all who are weary and need rest;

to all who feel alone and want community;

to all who mourn and long for comfort;

to all who feel worthless and wonder if God cares;

to all who fail and desire strength;

to all who worry and want peace;

to all who sin and need a Savior;

to all who hunger and thirst for righteousness;

and to whoever will come—this church offers her welcome in the name of the

Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us worship and glorify God together.

Prayer of Confession  🙏

We are broken. As we confess in the many ways we fail to hold our promises to one another, we also recognize that in each broken relationship we fall out of communion not only with one another but also with you.

Silence

Lord Hear our Prayer

Each morning you give us a new day full of hope and promise and we say it will be different, that we will honor our commitments, that we will repair relationships and live into our faith... but life gets in the way.

Silence

Lord Hear our Prayer

Teach us not only to use our words to love instead of hate but also teach us to handle disappointment with compassionate and loving spirits, for we often hold grudges and harbor resentment when others let us down.

Silence

Lord Hear our Prayer

Guide us, humble us as we work towards repairing those places in our lives where we have lost one another’s trust and where we have allowed that to further tear apart the love we have for one another.

Silence

Lord Hear our Prayer

And as we work towards community at home and in our communities, also humble us before You, O Lord, so that we may see with new eyes and fresh hearts how we are called to love, serve and be in communion with you.

Amen.
