January 2019
Food Donations
We received 125 lbs. of food donations in December which put us just over the 1000 lb. mark at 1042 lbs. for the year. We have now donated over 1000 lbs. for 16 consecutive years, but this is the closest we have ever come to dropping below that level.
Since we began recording our donations in 2001 we have delivered over 11 tons of food to The Center for Food Action. Pretty impressive when you look at it that way.
But now it’s a new year and with declining membership, getting to the 1000 lb. mark is going to be more difficult. So it seems that we’ll each have to double our efforts.
Maya Angelou once said “If you find it in your heart to care for somebody else, you will have succeeded.” So let’s be successful.

Operation Omnipresence
An Elder shared with us that her grandson was deployed to the Middle East, but every now and then he would “FaceTime” with the grandparents on their smartphone, tablet, or computer and chat face-to-face. She appeared joyful and thankful to the amazing technology that allows us to communicate so intimately with family members around the world as if they are right next to us.
As a church family, Trinity also wants to form a closer community with our friends and family of faith to cultivate a more fruitful life that glorifies God. We are happy to deploy Faithlife Equip as our platform for communication, collaboration, and education. Thank you if you have already joined, but if you haven’t, please do so now so that we can all grow together.
Faithlife Equip is a digital church management suite that is coupled with Bible study tools, Christian education videos and resources for adults and children alike.
So what does that mean for our church?
This means we can fulfill our church mission of Exalting, Equipping, and Extending on one integrated platform, allowing us to cultivate a Fruitful Life more effectively.
We have already been using several Faithlife church products so there won't be a ton of change to what we are already using. We will simply and slowly migrate our connection and communication through Faithlife newsletters, bulletins, groups, etc.
Moving to Faithlife Equip was also a wise financial choice because we saved money by signing up for the bundle of products. We desire to steward our resources well as we continue to spread the Gospel.
So what does it mean for you and your family?
It means more ways for us to connect as a community and more tools for you to grow in your relationship with Jesus and cultivate a fruitful life.
Spend less time scrolling social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram and spend more time looking at what is happening in our community by going to our church group in the Faithlife app or Faithlife.com.
Take advantage of the 200+ Bible study resources for your personal growth OR start a Bible study group through our church group on Faithlife app or Faithlife.com.
You can also show your children the Christian movies and videos on FaithlifeTV and have frequent family discussions about faith and God’s Word.
So, register today to experience the omnipresence of Trinity (pun intended) and let it nurture our spirit to fruitfulness.
