Prayer and Praise
“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” - Colossians 1:9-14 NIV
Please pray for the following people and concerns:
Please continue to keep Joy Evans in your prayers. She returned home briefly this past week, but was soon after taken to the ICU at UPenn. Please visit CaringBridge for updates, and to encourage the family there.
Please continue to pray for Sherry Rappe who is having some medical concerns.
Please continue to pray for Margret Robinson who is at Care One Moorestown rehabilitation center. Pray for Amy as well!
Please continue to pray for Gene Kosich (Mary Beth Kosich’s Mom) as she had a stroke and is in a rehabilitation center.
Please continue to pray for Jenn DePaul (Gary and Kathy McGaurn’s daughter) who is having knee issues.
Pray for the many that still are being infected by Covid-19, and their families. Also pray for hospital and frontline workers all across our country and world. We pray for God’s healing grace and strength.
Pray for God’s love and grace and healing upon our country and world at this time.
Continue to pray for our College students and families as several of our students have started school either in person or remotely.
Pray for our School Administrations everywhere, teachers, staff, parents and students as schools are starting this week and next, either in person or remotely.
Pray for those who are having financial challenges these days, and how we can continue to connect and help as God's people. Also pray for our church as we navigate through the challenges ahead, as well as our giving, which has been blessed, but still affected by not being able to gather together.
We praise God for the daily blessing and faithfulness of his love in our lives.
A Praise Report from Don Parsons - "Esther and I are thrilled to announce to you that God has opened a new door for ministry with Mission Eurasia! I have been invited to join the staff of this mostly Slavic-lead organization to serve in a new role as Ministry Director for Unreached People Groups (UPGs). The primary task that they are asking us to help fulfill involves mobilizing, inspiring and equipping the church in Eurasia (The former Soviet Union) to engage UPGs in their neighborhoods and in the region. There are Muslim, Buddhist, Animistic and other people groups with very little or no Gospel witness, and the desire is to mobilize the existing church to change that reality. We will be working within an extensive Mission Eurasia training and ministry network as well as building bridges for more partnerships for UPG engagement. Once COVID restrictions end (a daily prayer from all of us!), I will be traveling to the region to learn more and to mobilize, train and mentor trainers and facilitate ministry. For now I will be working with teams remotely."
