Prayer and Praise

The Power of Prayer

Four things let us ever keep in mind:

  • God hears our prayer
  • God heeds our prayer
  • God answers our prayer
  • God delivers our prayers

E. M. Bounds

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you!”

- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Please pray for the following people and concerns:

Please continue to keep Joy Evans  in your prayers as she faces the treatment process, and the many challenges that go with this new step in her journey . Please visit CaringBridge for updates and to

encourage the family as we keep Craig, Claire, and Neil in our prayers as well.

Please continue to pray for Sherry Rappe who is having some medical concerns.

Pray for Dean Stefano who will be having surgery in early October.

Pray for the many that still are being infected by Covid-19, and their families. Also pray for hospital and frontline workers all across our country and world. We pray for God’s healing grace and strength.

Pray for God’s love and grace and healing upon our country and world at this time.

Pray for our Outside Summer Gathering on this Sunday night September 20th at 6pm (please note time change) on the volleyball court. This will be a special time to gather together as we focus and worship on the theme “Simple Prayers Faithful God!" and share stories that guide us into proclaiming God’s goodness and experiencing His presence together. Let’s continue to pray for all of our future plans as we move forward together.

Continue to pray for our College students and families as several of our students have started school either in person or remotely.

Pray for our School Administrations everywhere, teachers, staff, parents and students as schools are starting this week and next, either in person or remotely.

Pray for those who are having financial challenges these days, and how we can continue to connect and help as God's people. Also pray for our church as we navigate through the challenges ahead, as well as our giving, which has been blessed, but still affected by not being able to gather together.

Praises!

We praise God for the daily blessing and faithfulness of his love in our lives.

We praise God for the beautiful weather. We also pray for those affected by the many hurricanes and the horrific fires on the west coast.

There continues to be a steady core of people praying each day for our church family, community, and world, from both the porch and from their homes. People are still sharing their needs regularly or stopping by the porch simply seeking God. It's a reminder that God is still at work!
