Thanks to each of you our pantry is well stocked. The next few   months our focus will be supplying first-aid kits to the Mountain Mission we support in Kentucky. Supplies needed: band aids, antibiotic ointment, antiseptic wash or wipes, disposable gloves, elastic bandages, instant cold packs, scissors, sterile gauze pads, medical tape, sting & bite sticks, thermometers and tweezers or a small first-aid kit. Thanks very much for your continued support. Any questions, please contact Shelia or Carol.

         Psalms 33:12-19

1. A Nation Formed by Divine Guidance

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all the children of man; from where he sits enthroned he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, he who fashions the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds. The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine.” Psalm 33:12–19

   2. A Nation Formed on Biblical Principles

“For the Lord is our Judge (Judicial) our Lawgiver (Legislative) and our King (Executive). It is He that will save us.” Isaiah 33:22

 3. A Nation Formed for Religious Freedom

“Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based on and must include the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible for it to be otherwise. To this extent, our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian” Supreme Court 1892

Washington’s prayer for the nation:

“Almighty God: We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United States in Thy holy protection; that Thou wilt incline the heads of the citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government, and entertain a brother-affection and love for one another and for their fellow-citizens of the United States at large. “And finally that Thou wilt most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy, and to demean ourselves with that charity, humility, and pacific temper of mind which were the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed religion and with a humble imitation of whose example in these things we can ever hope to be a happy nation. “Grant our supplication, we beseech Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.”
