“That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. 17 For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! 18 So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. 1. Look at Jesus

”He persevered because he saw him who is invisible” Hebrews 11:27

Paul writes...“You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake.” 2 Corinthians 4:5

  2. Look for those You are Called to Serve

“So we live in the face of death, but this has resulted in eternal life for you.” 2 Corinthians 4:12

“All of this is for your benefit. And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory.” 2 Corinthians 4:15

Paul said to Timothy...“Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory” 2 Timothy 2:10

   3. Look to Find God’s Plan for You

“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. 9 We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed.”          2 Corinthians 4:8–9

“... for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again”       Proverbs 24:16

Paul says... “We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus, will also raise us with Jesus and present us to himself together with you” 2 Corinthians 4:14

Our Church has a program to assist unfortunate individuals who we see from time-to-time as we travel about. We now have a “Blessing Bag” that contains several helpful items for them. You can pick one up by the door going out the fellowship hall or see Lynn Wood for more information.
