God’s Hand of Protection

1. God Protects the Jews 

 "When Haman saw that Mordecai would not bow down or show him respect, he was filled with rage. "He had learned of Mordecai’s nationality, so he decided it was not enough to lay hands on Mordecai alone. Instead, he looked for a way to destroy all the Jews throughout the entire empire of Xerxes.” Esther 3:5–6   

2. God Protects His Prophets

"Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. "Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So may the gods do to me and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by this time tomorrow.”” 1 Kings 19:1–2   

"The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.” Psalm 34:15   

3. God Protects America

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people He has chosen as His own inheritance. 13 The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men. 14 From the place of His dwelling He looks On all the inhabitants of the earth; 15 He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works. 16 No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. 17 A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. 18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy, 19 To deliver their soul from death, And to keep them alive in famine.” Psalm 33:12–19

individuals who we see from time-to-time as we

travel about. We now have a “Blessing Bag” that

contains several helpful items for them. You can

pick one up by the door going out the fellowship

hall or see Lynn Wood for more information.
