Weekly Highlights, April 28, 2022

Join us this Sunday at 10:00 am as we gather for worship and fellowship. The scripture passage is Mark 10:17-34. The message is titled "Salvation Is Received, Not Earned." See you Sunday!

Help the people of Ukraine. There are 2 bins in the foyer to donate items such as first aid supplies, pain relievers, wound care items, and ointments. Please see Miriam Pensiero for more details.

International Sunday is back! Join us after the service on Sunday, May 15th, as we celebrate the nations with food and fellowship. Joshua and Naomi Smith, our missionaries to Latin America will be with us. If you have any questions, please contact the Missions Committee, missions@gracestamford.org.

Are you not yet a Partner of Grace Church? Join us for the Discover Grace class on May 22 at 12:00 pm in Taylor Hall. Lunch will be provided, and Pastor Tom Hansen will walk us through the church's beliefs, mission & vision, and process to become a Partner. Please RSVP by May 15 to office@gracestamford.org, or sign up in the Sanctuary. 

Mark your calendar for a Women's Tea Party here at Grace Church on June 4th. It will take place from 2:00 - 4:00pm. This is a great opportunity for fellowship and outreach. Stay tuned for more details.

Our prayer focus this week is the church. Please pray for Grace Church, our upcoming events, and the church worldwide.

Continue to pray for our church family, including: Sarah Hansen, Eloise Jordan, Anne Gallo, Anne Ragoonanan, Carina Imbrogno, David Bacon, Virginia Jordan, and Rachel Bacon. Pray also for Agar Alcin, Elaine Mehan, John Foster, and Eddie O’Meara, who are unable to attend.

As we embrace our vision, prayer is our top priority. One way we will focus on prayer is through the Women in Prayer group. This group will meet before the Sunday service to pray for our church, community, country, world, and each other. The group is open to all women. If you are interested, please contact office@gracestamford.org.

As the Renewal Committee prepares to install new carpet and chairs in the sanctuary, we are offering free pews to the church family. If you would like a pew (or more) you need to claim it by Sunday, May 1 and pick it up by May 8. Unclaimed pews will be removed on May 2.
