Hey Planning Team!

This group has been created to come together to brainstorm and update the church calendar at least once per quarter. Each department can bring their ideas, plans, goals and questions to our meetings. The purpose of this team is to think ahead with the needs of our church family and neighbors as it relates to each department following our GLCN (Gather, Love, Community, Neighbors). Each one of you (and your councils/teams/teachers/etc.) are valued leaders in our church and we want to be sure you have the support and encouragement to do the things God is leading you to for our people and neighbors.

There are many people involved in different areas of the church and the hope of this group is to bring encouragement and support to those who are working hard to plan events/activities/fundraisers/services/projects/etc. for the people they have been called to lead. This will also serve as a way to organize our church year and look ahead to pray and plan as God leads us. Hopefully this helps us to continue and improve on being good stewards of our time, church budget/donations and resources.

In an effort to maximize/improve church communication with the upcoming change to our church platform/app/giving (Faithlife to Subsplash), I am creating a form to help with all the questions and information that goes along with communicating those events/activities/fundraisers/services/projects/etc. to our church family and the community. Once that form is ready, it will be sent to each of you and available in printed form in the office. Once per quarter, I hope to meet with all of you to go over the next quarter of the church calendar. Using those forms will hopefully give us an insight on what is expected/needed/wanted for each calendar item and will help give me an idea of how I can support and help each of you in advance while keeping up with the normal weekly duties.
