• Thank you everyone for your ministry at Signature Health Care Sunday afternoon at 2-3pm…..the residents really enjoy your personal one-on-one prayers and loving touch. Our Nashville musical guest, Paco Shipp, was very well received. Guitar, harmonica vocals were a real treat. The residents do not get to hear in person LIVE such good ole country boy Nashville music!!! Paco was so personable and down to earth with the residents and such a blessing!!! Our own Luis Vasquez added his bass accompaniment! Psalm 139 was our focus that God knew us even when we were being formed in our mothers womb! He knows our coming in and our going out!!! WE ARE NEVER ALONE!! Such good news and encouragement for the residents!!! They all prayed out loud with me the salvation prayer!!! We are believing for good fruit!!! Thank you for all you do!! A special thanks to Wendy Miller and the Super Seniors who created and donated a cloth pumpkin as a gift at this Thanksgiving season! Barb Bennett and Nancy Laser completed the finishing touches so we were able to give each resident (20) a pumpkin to decorate their rooms!! The residents are always so appreciative!!! God is doing great things!!!!
    1. Hi Team: Just a reminder of our meeting Saturday, Nov 12 at 9:30am at the church. The location has changed. Rita needs the Fellowship Hall for the important Holidays Grief Share meeting so we are meeting in a classroom on the south end of the building. please park in the back south parking lot and enter in the back parking lot double glass doors. I will have them open for you. Hurricane Nicole should be gone by then so we are still meeting. Also on Sunday, Nov 13, we are going to Signature Health Care to have a service from 2pm til 3pm. We have a special musical guest. Paco Shipp is a noted Nashville musician who performs with guitar and harmonica and has moved to West Palm. He is a good old country boy. You as well as the residents of Signature will enjoy his variety of musical selections!! Both religious and secular. Also Carol, a friend, will bring a small service dog to bring joy to the residents. Carol will arrive at 2:50pm so as not to distract from our musical guest. Doggies are always a hit! Duchess can be on laps and give a hands on presence of love and joy!! She is licensed and well-trained! Please pray for Wendy and Andy Miller. They were in an auto accident and totaled their car!! Fortunately they were not seriously injured but the airbag caused bruises and other soreness!! They have been thru so much!!! If you can see fit to send s card, please do so!!! They need some tender loving care!!! ❤️❤️ Thank you for all you do!! Be blessed! Nita Wood 561-398-8599
      1. Dear Team: please pray for the families of Beverly Whiteside and Bobbie Mathias. Both graduated to heaven today!! Our team (Orchid and Sandy) and Pastor Anthony visited Bobbie and her son on Friday and I was with Beverly this afternoon moments before she passed. It means a great deal to families when they know we compassionately reach to and care for their family members!! Thank you for all you do to minister to our church family and beyond!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Nita Wood
        1. It Feels so sad yet I’m happy for them!
      2. Good morning Team: Thank you so much for attending our debriefing on Saturday, August 27. It was wonderful during the debriefing to hear how God is working through all of us as a team to minister to our congregation members. I appreciate so much all of your faithfulness as does our pastor Anthony. Please pray for Beverly Whiteside, who we visit on our list! She has been admitted to JFK hospital. Her sodium levels are very low with serious indicators. The hospital has suggested hospice; however, the family is not ready for that step presently. Pray that Bev’s body receives the treatment indicated and that she gains strength and is healed through the name of Jesus. We need a miracle! I was with Bev in the hospital last evening and will be returning today. She does know that I’m there and I appreciate all that God is doing to help her through these moments. We are trusting God for his perfect will in her life and body. Please pray for her family especially her sister Ruby Rinker as they navigate these days with Bev. Our gathering at Signature nursing care facility is scheduled for Sunday, September 18 at 2 PM. The service will last until 3 PM. Everyone who is vaccinated is welcome to attend. Presently we have Odette James, Orchid Richards, Ken Fishback, Indra Boodoo, Doris Monjes Perez. Others are welcome to simply be present to interact with the residents, and love on them in the name of Jesus. Our crafters, Nancy Laser and Pat Witzman, are working on a love gift to give to each of the residents. It is a heart shaped cloth “mug rug” so we will need volunteers to help present these to each of the residents. Presently the worship team is unable to participate because of the Signature facility’s vaccination requirement. We are hoping this restriction will change in the near future. I will keep you updated. The address for the facility is 4405 Lakewood Rd. It runs between Kirk Road and military Trail just north of Lake Worth Rd. The facility is on the northside of Lakewood Road. OK Moving forward for our future gatherings, please be advised that we will enter the building through the outside kitchen door off the north sidewalk. This will provide adequate security for our building. Please park in the north parking lot and enter from the sidewalk on the northernmost side of the building that leads into the fellowship hall area. I am currently getting approval for our next debriefing on Saturday, September 24 at 9:30 AM in the fellowship hall. I will display an easy to see sign for the entrance door to the kitchen. Thank you so much for your cooperation. This door is the only one I will unlock for our gathering. I am scheduling a meeting for the team members who are going to Signature. We will finalize the activities for that one hour service. Currently I’m getting approval for that time and date. I will keep everyone informed. God bless you for all that you do and thank you for reading this extra long epistle. I am learning that communication is vital to our success as a ministry team. Please do not hesitate to tell me any insights that you have. We are always on a learning curve especially when we’re doing things for the first time. We want to be Excellent examples for our Lord Jesus Christ! Nita Wood 561-398-8599

        2. Hi Care Team: Many have been traveling as summer continues. Praying you are enjoying family and friends. We do, however, want to meet as a team on Saturday, July 23, at 9:30am in the Bethel Fellowship Hall. You will see it posted among the Events on our FAITHLIFE website. After having tried to meet on Sunday following our church service with most of us in the building, it became apparent with only 5 attending, it was difficult. The service is so vital. We don’t want to leave the sanctuary before God is finished !! It was difficult to gather. Thus, we are returning to the Saturday gathering to debrief and make plans to expand our ministry. My goal, as always, is to keep our time frame to one hour. We need the “connect!!” However, we can continue longer if needed. NOTE: Grief Share meets at 11 am. Thus the reason our time of 9:30am. We will not conflict with those wishing to participate in that vital ministry. I look forward to seeing you. Please bring your input, frustrations, successes, suggestions etc. and keep in contact with your ministry team partner. It is easy in our busy schedule to lose focus. if you can confirm your availability, I will appreciate your response. Be blessed, Nita Wood 561-398-8599
          1. I will be there

            1. Hey Team: Saturday, April 23 @2pm is our scheduled meeting in the church fellowship hall. We will debrief, update, and share insights regarding our ministry team. Pastor Anthony has confirmed the date and time. He will place it on the church events calendar. Again, it is my goal to only meet for one hour, yet it is a very important hour! Please confirm your intent. Thank you for your follow up and follow thru with our homebound/nursing home congregants. Be blessed! Nita Wood
              1. Good Afternoon, Everyone: I have just learned that Sharlene Mann went to heaven early this morning. Pastor Anthony has talked with Charlie. Charlie seems to be doing ok. Please remember him and their family as they process this loss! I do not have any information regarding a Celebration of Life, but will share any information I receive! Thank you for praying! Nita
