Two sides. Most things in life are like that.
But if you are not careful…you’ll make a decision based on just one side of the question.
Listen to the words of Solomon: “The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and questions him.”
How true. The one side seems right until you see the other side. It’s only then that right decisions are forthcoming.
In weighing any argument…you must wait until there has been an opportunity to hear the other side. Then you can make a decision that is well-informed.
Dogmatism is a ready threat…it insists on hearing only one side. In that case the door is closed to any further consideration.
So…always look at both sides.
