  • You are encouraged to use the final month of the year to reflect on the hope, peace, and new life that are found in Christ. Christmas is celebrated as fulfilling God’s plan for salvation, marking the moment God entered the world in human form through Jesus Christ. This event is significant because it demonstrates God's love and commitment to humanity, offering a path to reconciliation and eternal life. Through Jesus’ birth, life, death, and resurrection, God provides a means for salvation, redeeming humanity from sin. Christmas is thus seen not only as a celebration of Christ’s birth but as the pivotal step in God’s redemptive plan.
    1. You are invited to use the November prayer calendar to reflect on all God is doing for us to be THANKFUL. As children of the Most High God, we are called to live in a spirit of daily thanksgiving, recognizing the countless blessings He graciously bestows upon us. No number of voices could ever fully express the gratitude He deserves. While November brings a manmade holiday to celebrate, let us remember that our gratitude to God extends beyond a single day. Though we cherish the traditions and time spent with family and friends, true thanksgiving is a lifestyle of continuous praise and appreciation. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
      1. We invite you to embark on a spiritual journey toward maturity with us as we read through the Bible in 90 days. Utilize the October Prayer Calendar to delve into timeless wisdom, reflect on our faith, and strengthen our connection with God and one another. Together, let’s grow in love, purpose, and insight as we discover the beauty of God’s Word.
        1. As we reflect on 71 years of faithful service, we praise God for the many blessings and achievements we have experienced as a church. However, we recognize that our mission is far from over. In Matthew 28:19, we are reminded of our divine mandate: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations…” This scripture calls us to continue our work with renewed vigor and commitment. We encourage you to use September’s prayer calendar to uplift GPBC in all service areas. Let us pray fervently for God's guidance and strength as we strive to fulfill His purpose of “changing lives through our worshiping, witnessing, and working.” Let us press forward together, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain.
