We are an independent church affiliated with the Greater Grace World Outreach in Baltimore, MD. The mission of Greater Grace Church is to plant local churches where together with God's help we will invest the love of Jesus Christ in the community (local and worldwide), point people to the savior, and help individuals develop their relationship with God. Planting and establishing the local church is what we feel God is doing on the earth today! Who We Are Greater Grace Church of Clearwater, Florida is a non-denominational Bible believing Christian Church in beautiful sunny Pinellas County on the west side of Tampa Bay. GGC Clearwater is the present expression of the Greater Grace World Outreach in western central Florida. Through a process of growth and refinement this group of believers has existed in this area of Florida since 1979. By His grace, we pray that our fellowship would be more than a typical religious experience; rather, we want to experience the Life of Jesus Christ in His Word and His People. Every member participates and makes a contribution, as well as receives great blessing. The body of Christ, living by every word of God and loving it, truly is our experience. The Church is the expression of the fulness of Christ on the earth today! We welcome you to visit us. What We Believe The Bible is the Inspired Word of God, made up of both the Old and New Testaments. It is the Ultimate Authority for Christian Life. There is one true God who is Eternal and exists in three unique persons: The Father, The Son, And The Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, the Son, is completely God who became a real man in human flesh. He was born of a virgin, conceived by the Holy Spirit, and lived a sinless life. He died, shedding his blood as a substitute for sinners. He was buried, arose from the grave, ascended up into Heaven and is NOW living and seated at the right hand of the Father. The Holy Spirit, who is the Lord and giver of life, convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment and unites men and women to Jesus Christ by faith. We believe the Holy Spirit seals and fills all believers. Man was created in the image and likeness of God. It was by man's free choosing that he disobeyed God, resulting in physical and spiritual death (separation from God). Each human being is born with a sin nature. Because of this each human is a sinner by nature and is in need of salvation. Salvation is a gift from God accomplished by Christ's death; all who believe in Him are saved and justified by the shedding of His blood. Because salvation is given by grace, the believer's salvation is secure and can not be lost. Where two or more believers are gathered in His name, Christ is present. The church is not a building but the living Body and Bride of Jesus Christ. The primary responsibility of the church is to teach all nations and to make disciples through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Christ is coming again! In a moment of time He will take his church to heaven. Immediately following there will be the seven-year tribulation period. After this, Christ will come again to the earth and establish His Kingdom for a 1,000 year period, as promised in the Scriptures. The judgment of the unsaved, and Satan cast into the lake of fire, will then allow Christ to establish a New Heaven and a New Earth. This is the consummation of all things.
