Connection Cards: Our Church family wants to welcome you to our service today. Finding the right place to worship God each week can be overwhelming. We’re a group of imperfect, Jesus- loving followers from all sorts of backgrounds and past experiences. Our prayer for you is that you feel welcome no matter where you are in your life. May your time today result in a spiritual renewal and a better understanding of how much God loves you!
Deacon Nomination Form: We are asking for Deacon nominations. Please see the nomination form with instructions in this Sunday’s bulletin.
Shepherd’s Fold Readers: Shepherd’s fold needs readers for
their Grandma & Grandpa reading program on Wednesdays at
9:00am. This is so easy and fun! A wonderful way to pour into our children. The children are asking for Grandpa’s! To get started, just show up Wednesday morning or contact the church office.
Ladies Bible Study: Just a reminder that our Monday Ladies
Bible Study is starting back up tomorrow- Ten Visions of God in the Bible. Be here at 9:30!

Memory Verse for September
See! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.

The men serving on our Deacon Ministry Team are servant ministers who are called to help our pastors meet the needs of the church family.
LIVING...IN LIGHT OF HIS SECOND COMING
2 Thessalonians 1:1-4
As we spend several weeks in Paul’s second letter to the
Thessalonians - what value does this book have for our
lives? There are four areas: (1) We will gain a deeper
love and trust in our Heavenly Father. (2) We will gain a
deeper love for and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. (3) We
will gain a deeper awareness and insight into world events.
(4) We will be encouraged on how we should be living in
light of Christ’s second coming.
Our faith in God should be increasing (1:3,4)
Our love toward one another should be growing (1:3b)
Our courage toward our enemies should be persisting (1:4)
