Who We Are
Green Valley Southern Baptist Church of Mount Vernon, Ohio was founded in 1970. Our church building was constructed in 1976. We are a member of the Buckeye Central-Erie Baptist Association, the State Convention of Baptists in Ohio, and the Southern Baptist Convention. We financially support Southern Baptist ministries and mission work in the United States and other countries. We also support Knox County ministries including Interchurch Social Services and Care Net Pregnancy Service. We believe and preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. We hold that God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever would believe in Him would not perish but yet experience eternal life.
