Hope City Church

Hope City Church is a UK-based multi-site church started by Dave and Jenny Gilpin in Easter 1991. It has congregations in Sheffield, Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham, Lancashire and Accra (Ghana) with plans to start a further congregation in Frankfurt (Germany) in November 2011. It is closely linked with the Australian Christian Churches and runs a number of community projects through its Megacentres, rehabilitation ministry, and Night of Honour programmes. The church currently broadcasts its own TV programme on UCB TV (part of Sky Broadcasting) and Dave Gilpin is a regular on Premier Christian Radio, broadcasting across London on AM and across the UK on digital. Hope City Church runs a series of national conferences including She Is Fabulous (for women), This New Republic (for college age, young adults and students), The Leadership Summit (for Pastors and core teams) and Fabulous (a family conference for churches).
