THE CofS GUILD

We look forward to the new session of the Church of Scotland Guild in the High Kirk. Our theme this year is “Companions on the Road” which is the second year of our 3-year strategy “One Journey, Many Roads”. We begin this year on the 3rd October in the Church Hall at 1.30pm and look forward to having our minister, Scott, as our speaker and sharing in communion. ALL WELCOME!

MESSY CHURCH

Messy Church starts again next week in the Hayocks Hall at 5pm. This is a night for the whole community. Why not invite someone to come along and join in the fun!

PRAYER CYCLE

This week the Presbytery of Ardrossan invites us to pray for Beith parish church, remembering Rev Roderick MacDonald, and Fiona Blair DCS.

The Spirit from Heaven

“Them that preached the gospel unto you by the Holy Spirit sent down from heaven” (1Peter1:12).

Christ has taught us to think of God as our own Father in heaven who is ready to bestow His blessing son His children on earth. O Christian, take time each day to receive from the Father the continual guidance of the Holy Spirit. Do not be unbelieving. The Holy Spirit will do his part, if you in faith surrender yourself to his control.

Andrew Murray (1828 1917)
