RAIN EDGE INTERNATIONAL (KENYA)
A big thankyou to all those involved in catering and serving at our Church Lunch last Sunday. What an amazing feast! A collection box will continue to be situated at the Beadle’s pew near the Organ for those wishing to donate to Sammy’s Project in Kenya.
WELCOME & HOSPITALITY
The “Welcome, Worship & Fellowship Team”, led by Billy Aitken, are presently looking out for those who can help in giving a welcome at the door of the church, along with handing out bibles, bulletin sheets, etc. Please let us know if you would like to be part of this team.
THE CofS GUILD
We look forward to the new session of the Church of Scotland Guild in the High Kirk. Our theme this year is “Companions on the Road” which is the second year of our 3-year strategy “One Journey, Many Roads”. We begin this year on the 3rd October in the Church Hall at 1.30pm and look forward to having our minister, Scott, as our speaker and sharing in communion. ALL WELCOME!
NEXT WEEK - HARVEST FAMILY SERVICE
Next Sunday we celebrate Harvest Thanksgiving. This is a time where we give thanks to God for all his goodness and mercy. As your Minister, I give thanks to God for you all, and for being such a blessing as we partner together in the gospel. God bless you!
STEWARDSHIP MONTH
During the month of October many have chosen to give a special “love offering” of thanksgiving towards the general funds of the High Kirk. A collection box will be made available through the month, or you may wish to give by bank transfer -
