Children: A supervised crèche is available for babies and toddlers during the Morning Service. Children aged 3—14 years are also

welcome at our Sunday Club which starts at 10.30am in the Church Hall.


Hearing Difficulties: A Loop System is installed in the downstairs area for hearing aid users; please switch to the T position.


High Kirk Online: All our audio sermons are available on our website along with some great resources.


CDs: If you would like to hear the service again, copies are available in the church vestibule, or just ask the Sound & Audio team at the recording desk.


We are delighted to welcome our Sunday club and youth group who are sharing in our worship this morning. 


HARVEST FAMILY SERVICE 

TODAY we celebrate Harvest Thanksgiving. This is a time where we give thanks to God for all his goodness and mercy. As your Minister, I give thanks to God for you all, and for being such a blessing as we partner together in the gospel. God bless you! 


SUNDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP 

You are welcome to come along to our meeting tonight in the church halls at 7.15pm. Please join us for an evening of Praise, Prayer & Share. 


RAIN EDGE INTERNATIONAL (KENYA) 

A collection box will continue to be situated at the Beadle’s pew near the Organ for those wishing to donate to Sammy’s Project in Kenya. 


MARY'S MEALS 

We would like to continue to support Mary's Meals as our Harvest Thanksgiving offering and boxes are available for those who would like to give. Please return them on Sunday 17th November. 


GOSPEL COFFEE MORNING 

Everyone is invited to our Coffee Morning on Tuesday 8th October at 10.30am in the Church Hall. Please join us for a special time of praise and fellowship with our friends from the other Churches in the town. 


GUNS OR PEOPLE 

Sunday 6th October 3pm St John's Stevenston - an event including music and time for reflection to raise awareness of the consequences of using armaments to resolve conflict and the alternatives. Rev Kathy Galloway of The Iona Community is the guest speaker and Arthur West will explain the work of Peace Education Scotland.  Time - about 45 minutes - a cup of tea at the end.  This event is organised by the Outreach to the Poor Group of Embracing Change. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend. 


LIVINGSTONE PLAYERS 

On behalf of Livingstone Players, I'd like to thank all the High Kirk congregation for the warmth - metaphorically and literally! - of your welcome in our time of difficulty. It was great to be able to keep rehearsals going, and not lose momentum. Thank you all!
