An update from Steve Bardell:
God is doing a great work in Carson and in every relationship within our family. Relationships are being mended. Carson's mom and I actually got to go in his room for the first time yesterday for 5 minutes. We got to talk to him and pray over him and tell him that we love him no matter what. Then we heard back from the nurses that it was the most peaceful night since day 1. He is still very very sedated but I'm positive he could hear us. We are believing he will not be taken away from us yet. God's going to continue His great work in my sons life! They are putting a trach in and taking the respirator out today. That's a huge move. He can start "eating" better now and they can more easily help him strengthen his lungs back up.
