• Hello, I am interested in the course and am in need of some clarification. Looking through the course, mainly units 4-7 (grammar sections), is grammar taught or are you shown in these sections how to find nouns, verbs, etc. in the Logos app? I appreciate any assistance. Also, I see in some posts that there are 'notes' for this course, if so, how would I access them.
    1. I'm working through those sections now. There is a bit of both. It's not really teaching grammar like you're learning Greek from scratch. It's teaching grammar understanding that you will use Logos to parse some of this out and help you, but you still need a basic knowledge of what the grammar means. For instance, I'm working my way through the Noun cases right now. It talks about the different cases and what they mean as well as how to find and see which case is being used through the interlinear and visual filters. There are also lots of links to other resources to expand on what is taught in the course. As to where to find the notes, there is a previous question with that answer. To the left of the posts, hit the drop down next to Bible Study then click Logos Documents. You will see the two that are part of the course. I don't think the Readings works any longer though. I get an error trying to access it but the sheet of the resources used which is pretty handy to ensure you own all the resources you need to go through the course and the optional exercises. It also shows the number of times it's used in the course so you can see which ones are most needed. Note that it is just linked to the more optional ones. It shows Louw and Nida Greek-English Lexicon as having 6 links. That one gets used a lot early on in the main course so would definitely be a resource you want in your library.
    2. Thank you for your help. Answered all my questions. Much Appreciated. Soli Deo Gloria Steele
  • Just started taking this course. It looks like it was developed a version or 2 of Logos before the current version (Logos 10 or 24.1.21 in the new version numbering scheme). All of the resources and features so far seem to be available, just slightly different on how to find them (like using the Grid view of multiple resources took me a bit to figure out - the others have generally been pretty easy). Is there a document or something anywhere that lists the changes in how to use the features he shows in Logos 10?
    1. How do I find the Notes document for this course?
      1. The Notes file is available under Bible Study > Logos Documents. Click "Actions" then "Connect" to it, and it will appear in your Logos documents.
    2. Hi all, I tried to list out all the verses in the gospel with all verb forms of phobeo, but there was no result return. Could anyone help me out? Many thanks.
      1. I am sorting out all verses related to "do not fear" in the gospel ("fear" NEAR "not"), but it turn out that not all related verses are in the returned result (Luke 2:10 is not included in the returned result). May I know why?
        1. I was watching the videos and DR. Zacharius mentioned he had his commentaries in an academic collection. Is there any way to get a list of those commentaries. Thank you
          1. If I do not create each element of the visual filters as the course progresses, is there a place in the course or a shared Doc where I can do it all at once or download as a shared Doc?

I'm at the end of LA181 and Zacharias shows how to listen to the reading of the Lexham Greek-English Interlinear New Testament. I have the same resources (and I have the Audio Greek New Testament), but why can't I connect them as he does in the video?? I want to just open LGNTI and listen to the greek as I read along. (Not listen via the Audio Greek New Testament where I can't see the text.) To just open the meny and press "Read aloud" in LGNTI. Zacharias is able, why can't I do it?
            2. How do I get the highlighting notes for this course?
              1. There is a file under Bible Study > Logos Documents called "LA181—Readings" that highlights all the additional readings from the course.
              2. Hi I went to the reading but it seems I can't download it.
