Good afternoon. I have never taken Greek before, but plan on taking it in seminary. Will this course allow me to be better equipped before taking Greek in seminary? thx

No, this course would be more beneficial if you already have some Greek. If you are looking for something to prepare you, I would suggest our Greek alphabet and pronunciation class: https://www.logos.com/product/145020/mobile-ed-interactive-greek-alphabet-course
Mobile Ed: Interactive Greek Alphabet Course (1 hour course)
For serious theological study you need to be able to recognize the original words of the New Testament since they regularly appear in commentaries and lexicons. This course will make you feel at ease when you encounter such references by teaching you the Greek alphabet and showing you how to pronounce whole words. To help you master the Greek alphabet, each lesson has an interactive activity section with various experiential exercises, such as game-type drills, an alphabet song, and quizzes.

LA211 Introducing New Testament Discourse Grammar I took this Course By Mr. Runge Runge's Course is the Best Software to Learn Greek Available. It the most advanced In His unique Linguistic's based approach. No word memorization is Required. If you are going to learn Greek, LA211 Introducing New Testament Discourse Grammar is the best placed to Start. I highly Recommend it.

Greetings group. I am Rick Daniels, teaching "Biblical Interpretation" at Africa Reformation Theological Society, in Kampala, Uganda. The course notes said to"download a Notes document that highlights the readings for this course, join the LA211 Faithlife group." So, now that I'm here, how do I download that document? I am just starting the course and don't want to miss anything.

The Logos notes file can be found under Bible Study > Logos Documents. It's not really necessary for working through the course. It highlights the additional readings in the resources you own. I hope you find the course useful for you!

What resource is Dr. Runge using to display Greek-English text in his videos? The clean format is much better for a newbie Greek student than an English interlinear Bible.

Likely the Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament. See https://www.logos.com/product/3888/lexham-discourse-greek-new-testament-bundle
Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament Bundle (6 vols.)
Our understanding of the Greek New Testament is based almost entirely on English translations, but how would our understanding of the Greek text change if we read it for what it is, as Greek? With the Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament, we can now get behind the words of the New Testament writers and discover the particular linguistic tasks that inform translation and interpretation. The Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament identifies discourse markers and performs complex discourse analysis of the entire New Testament quickly, easily, and accurately, which makes it one of the most advanced tools for studying the Greek text of the New Testament.

The course says: “To download a Notes document that highlights the readings for this course, join the LA211 Faithlife group: https://faithlife.com/la211.” I have been unable to find this document.

I'm sorry; that is frustrating. One thing you could do to quickly check which resources you own is to open the course in the Courses Tool (Tools > Courses then search for LA211). That lists the Suggested Resources before you start and should note which ones you own and which you don't. It lists them in order of how often they are used in the course.

Miles Custis thanks! Very helpful. Also, I think I do see the notes, they show up in the resources themselves, not as separate documents.

That's good. Glad to hear they are at least showing up correctly.
