• Not sure how to tackle the back Annex building door issue. Loose screw was preventing him from closing it last week. Said he screwed it in and no issues now. However, agree the frame needs to be redone.

    1. LOL - I've been at the church for while this afternoon. Apparently one of the kids flooded the bathroom. Yes, they put up an out of order sign right after, but saying they see no evidence of water leak from use since (???). I tested toilets and sink, no leak. They also put an Out of Order sign on one of the Ladies toilets. No one knows why. I tested that bathroom, as well - no problems (???) Apparently the running toilets at the back door bathrooms issue is from sticking floats. Drain flaps seem to be holding fine. I turned the adjustment for both loosening them up and worked great with several tests. I showed the FRS staff how to resolve in future if they find one not completing fill by lifting float. Gave my number to "Ademola" if still experiencing sticking. May have to replace internal works - I guess starting to wear out. Changed the front sign to You Have Questions?       1. The ladies restroom issue is not with the toilet. It is the door and frame. Something there is out of whack causing the door to get stuck

    2. Received a text from FRS this afternoon about water on the floor at the restroom doors in the fellowship hall. I went up and looked around; didn’t find any leaks. They have an “out of order” sign on the stall in men’s restroom. Again, not sure why, that toilet seems to be working fine. checked the ladies restroom. The stall doors need some attention. One stall door is tight, hard to open. Not sure the fix here, but seems the stall divider shifted.

      1. Did you check the water heater in the coset?

      2. Yeah, all the floors were dry.

    3. Received a text from FRS tonight. They couldn’t get the back door of the classroom building closed. The screws were falling out of the latch. I think we need to look at just replacing that door and frame. It’s pretty broke up. Thoughts?

    4. Joe and I mowed the lawn and carried most branches to the street today. Rain was starting so will blow tomorrow.

        1. I met Ken on Friday over a week ago where he inspected all fire extinguishers and retagged; Bought window screen material and cord. Derek fixed the back building screens last week; I fixed hanging rain gutters for both sides of the back building last week. Noticed heavily clogged rain gutters around the church building during heavy downpours in the process thereof; Joe and I cleaned out all rain gutters this past Tuesday and carried some of the broken branches from storm to the street. Still much more to clean up. Looking to get to today or tomorrow at latest.

        2. I received this from Ali this morning two work orders: The tiolet in the bathroom by the nusery in the fellowship hall is constantly running. In the small building, girls bathroom, the mirror is unattached from the wall at the bottom. If someone pulls on it, it will come off.

          4. Just an update. got the mirror mounted back to the wall. Did not see a problem with the toilet. The fire extinguisher are out of date. I will give Ken a call today to see when he can inspect them. I can’t remove them from the building with it bing occupied each day. May need someone to meet Ken at the building.

        3. Quality Equipment says the mowers are ready and will deliver next Tues. Both mower undercarriages were pretty much rebuilt with new pulleys, belts and blades. Total bill was $1064.77. I've taken care of it. Hoping to look into screens for the back building later today.

        4. Is there supposed to be some kind of fire safety equipment company that is supposed to be coming to re-inspect according to their tags? If so, I'll give them a call. I'll work on getting window screen material - will look at the other stuff on the list.

          1. Extinguishers are inspected by someone through Chris N. we can check the light in the back, it worked and passed when Cintas inspected last (within the year)
