    Be Still and Trust

    Psalms 46; Proverbs 3

As we see the effects of this terrible virus, as it is changing the world moment by moment. The world that we have held so dear to us is struggling. It has made me realize even more that only our Lord is the only one who knows what is going on.

God says in Psalms 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.”

God doesn’t say, “but not in this situation”.

God is ever-present and just wants your time and your attention so he can direct our paths. So simple. Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

My word to start this year was TRUST. I am trusting God more each day as he has the plans for my life - not for evil but for good.

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know plans I have for you, says the Lord, they are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

    John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that world through him might be saved.

    Dear Father God,

I ask that you show us what you want us to do in these uncertain days. Lord please show us with this time of being alone, distant from our friends and church families, and work. Lord help us to be still so we can hear your gentle voice. I pray this is a time of growing and learning and trusting and loving more.

Thank you, Father, for the many blessings, our heath and strength and all the food we have to sustain us. We are so grateful for your Love.
