  • Good Monday Morning Tribe!! Next Friday, April 28 is our Night of Worship at LFC - it will begin at 7:30 with musicians there at 6:45 and full team at 7. Please let me know if you can be there and participate. I will likely rotate in chunks so you aren’t all singing for 2 + hours. Also- I know I mentioned that we will not be doing new songs, however I would like to open with an “oldie” (from early 90s 😁). It’s a super simple mash up of two worship choruses. I will put parts on PCO this evening or tomorrow but you can listen in the meantime

    Hi squad- I am going to be largely unplugged from this evening until Sunday evening. Just wanted to shoot a reminder that Daylight savings time ends on Sunday AM and the clocks GO FORWARD one hour. Your phones automatically do that but for planning purposes it’s good to set your mind to get up and out the door on time! BON VOYAGE 🛳️

  • Howdy tribe- a few quick items 1) Please update your time off on the calendar function of PCO so we can adequately plan absences. I know there are spring breaks, vacations, and Baseball season which impacts specifically :-) so the sooner we know about the absence the easier it is to find coverage. If you need a refresher on using the PCO calendar to block dates, I am happy to show you. 2)Speaking of vacation, I am away the weekend of Mar 12 with Manny and Priscilla more than amply holding it down. whoot whoot :-) 3) I added a new song to PCO to introduce on Mar 19. It's new enough that it is not on Worshiponline yet, so I will record and add the parts to PCO this week. It's super easy yet beautiful -and as a Tomlin song--its only 5 chords :-) .     1. Good evening tribe! Hope you’re having an amazing evening. Pre-pandemic, we used to have an annual “Thank you for practicing, coming early, and putting up with Erika all year” celebration for the team and their families. I have received the go ahead from Pastor to plan a “Music Dept fun fest” again this year!! Wooohooo! Understanding that ministry is a sacrifice for the whole family, I try to plan events where teens, adults, and children can all have a fun and relaxed time. In the past, we have had parties at Bounce U and Blue Cross ice skating rink among other family friendly venues. I have some ideas for this year as well but need to land on a date and get an estimate of how many will be coming in order to secure a spot. Please let me know by Sunday evening if any/all of these dates can work for you and what is the headcount for your squad: Sunday, Jan 15 at 2P (preferred) Friday, Jan 13 at 6P Sunday, Jan 22 at 2P (right before D-day for ) I appreciate each of you and your commitment to the kingdom of God and LFC XOXO E
