          Thank you all for allowing me to serve you and fill in for Pastor Kevin as he spends time with his family. Last week we explored how we are to operate from a motive and not authority or manipulation. We are to speak and act out of love and speak boldly with one another without fear.

          This Sunday I look forward to talking about laying aside our rights for the sake of others. What a great book of love, reconciliation and an example for us to apply to our everyday lives. Come worship with us and grow together in the graces of God.

            ReadA Message From Pastor Kevin

            Hi Church Family,

            Just a few things I want to share with you:

            • Our Free-For-All Fall Carnival was a fantastic event. We had great attendance by our community who all expressed gratitude for our church hosting such a fun event for our community. In addition to carnival games, candy, and cotton candy, we were able to share a message about hope and God fulfilling his promises in a fun and engaging way. Hope you’ll join us for our Free-For-All Jingle Jam in December!
            • Tonight is Daylight Savings. Don’t forget to “fall back” by turning your clocks back one hour tonight.
            • I want to again express thanks to you for all of your thoughtfulness and gratitude expressed during pastor appreciation month. It is a blessing to serve as your pastor.
            • Please be in prayer for Dennis Winn. He is back in the hospital with an infection.
            • My family and I will be on vacation for the next week and a half. Tressa is available in the church office for anything you might need.

                Women's Ministry is hosting a Packing Party for the Operation Christmas Child boxes. Please bring anything you might have to contribute and a snack to share. This is a time to fellowship while serving as you piece together and pack gift boxes.

                  Gifts to appreciate Pastor Kevin

                  October is here and that means it is also Pastor Appreciation Month (as well as Pastor Kevin Goss' birthday was on the 7th)! There is a table in the foyer with blank cards to take and share your personal thanks, you can give financially towards a gift, you can grab a letter that has 50 ideas to bless our pastor! Let us all bless pastor Kevin and his family this month as they have given so generously of their time, talent, treasure and touch above and beyond time and time again. We will present him and his family with their financial gift the last Sunday of October.
