I have emailed the readthefathers.org team, but haven't heard anything back. So I did a bit of math and have put together a set of reading plans to take me/us to the end of NPNF 1.14 by November 30th. You can see them under "Group Readings" Or you can see all the reading plans (Starting with NPNF 2.5) here: https://faithlife.com/logos-read-the-fathers/documents

I have just uploaded a reading plan for NPNF 1.9, which starts on Sunday. It is tentative for now, until the ReadTheFathers team updates the calendar. Because of the page numbering / reference system in the Logos Resource, this reading plan doesn't include the 23-page Polegomena or the Introductions... it just covers John Chrystostom's actual writings.

I realized that I probably made a mistake in how long the 1.9 reading plan should be, so I uploaded one that finishes at the end of January

The calendar has us begin reading volume 1.5 on Jan 25 and end on April 11. This reading plan starts Jan 27 and ends April 29... I'm starting a bit late so I have time to read the introductory essays. The plan finishes a few days early just in case I miss some days reading over Easter.

I have uploaded a reading plan for NPNF 1.4 . It's a best approximation, since we only have the calendar dates until the beginning of advent for the moment.

Based on the new update for year 6, we should be finishing this book on January 24 (not Jan 27)

I just joined this group and I am trying to figure out how/where to find the first reading plan to get started reading the Fathers... Can someone direct me?

It depends on where you want to begin. You could begin with 1.1 with Augustine... in which case, you would be close to where we are currently reading. Check out some the reading plans from the past couple years here: https://faithlife.com/logos-read-the-fathers/documents Some of us started reading the AnteNicene Fathers and then the second series of Nicene/Post-Nicene Fathers a number of years ago. Unfortunately, it took me a while to find good ways of making the reading lists, and I don't have lists for some of those early books. The trick to making a plan is: if the book has a single author, you can automatically generate a plan. If, however, the book contains works by more than one author, you need to manually create a Logos 6 "read anything" plan, based on the calendar: http://readthefathers.org/calendar/ Let me know if you need help!

I am also new to this platform, hopefully looking for some directions.

Have you been reading along with the calendar on readthefathers.org, or are you just starting to think about it?

I have updated a plan for 2.13.  It's a little different than previous plans.  I want to read only 5 days a week and I want to read the historical prefaces, so I built that into this plan.

Since you don't often get replies, I thought I'd make sure I add a thank you for keeping this current for us!

The 2016-2017 readings are up on readthefathers.org/calendar. I have uploaded a reading plan for NPNF 2.12.  The second half of it is auto-generated, so may not match the calendar exactly.

NPNF2.9 Has Page Numbers! I have uploaded two reading plans... one that includes the prefaces/introductions and another that doesn't.  These are generated reading plans, so they may not match exactly with the Calendar http://readthefathers.org/calendar/

I have uploaded a reading plan for NPNF2.8, but since there's only one author in the book, I have done a generated plan.  The readings aren't exactly the same as in the calendar, but it covers all the readings in the same amount of time.

I put together a reading plan for NPNF 2.7.  Sorry it's a little late. If you are behind (like me) and want a simple plan to help catch up with Cyril, a regular auto-generated plan of NPNF 2.7 will make a reading plan of just Cyril's writings.  So as well as the main plan that lines up with the ReadTheFathers calendar, I also made for myself a simple reading plan that is helping me condense the Cyril readings into two weeks.

Thanks so much for doing this. I've wanted a way to read the fathers daily through Logos instead of just on the website. You are a blessing.
