• At my church there are several pastors who take the pulpit regularly. Does anyone else think it would be helpful to be able to highlight the pastors in different colors to more visually mark who is preaching when?
    1. I wish the CONTENT of the sermons was searchable. If I saved my sermons in a program like OneNote I would be able to search by words or things I used in the sermon. I know there's tags that are available now but it's hard to go back and tag everything I've already written. It would be WONDERFUL to be able to search the content of the sermon to find specific old sermons to reuse parts of them.
      1. Contents of sermons are searchable using a Docs Search - https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/10554910620301-Docs-Search This search will find a sermon containing the search string - but when clicking the search result it will just open the sermon doc, it won't take you to the place in the actual place in the sermon where the search string appears.
      2. Hi I was able to search for text I used in my sermons with the same method shared. In both an 'All' search and a 'Docs' search my sermons show up under 'Your Documents' and I can then navigate to the document that contains my search string. I do have to perform a second find (command-F) within my sermon doc to highlight and navigate to the part of the document that contains that specific text. Please let me know if this is helpful!
    2. Sermon Manager seems like it has the potential to be a great tool… But something is infuriating me when working on the calendar and creating a series. Say its 4 weeks and called Love. The auto-numbering of the message titles needs to be user-controlled. PLEASE can anyone help me figure out how to stop the auto-numbering? UGHHHHH!
      1. In Preaching Mode... The last line on a page will be faded out, then when turning the page it will show the line again without it being faded. Is there a way to remove this behavior? When I see / read the line at the bottom of the page and then flip the page I then have to re-find my place because it's repeated what I already hit on and causes me to loose my place in the scripture / quote / whatever. This is extremely annoying and should have an option to turn it off.
        1. I don't believe there is a way to turn it off - but if you switch to Scrolling mode as opposed to Paging (tap the Aa icon at the top right to see the option) it doesn't appear.
        2. Thank you, I really prefer the paging... but at least it's a temporary way around it. TY
      2. When I show 'Passages' in Sermon Manager, each sermon duplicates itself with a new entry for each and every passage. Is this normal?
        1. I don't see this behaviour. Can you post a screenshot showing what you are describing?
      3. Is it possible to adjust the dates on an entire series of sermons? I am using the tool to manage my Bible class lessons, and it took me a few weeks longer than planned to finish one. So the next series needs to be bumped by about a month into the future. All the dates need to be adjusted by the same amount. Can I do it in one or two steps?
        1. Geoff, If you highlight multiple sermons in Sermon Manager and then right click on that selection, you will see a menu that provides you an option to "Move forward 1 week." Perhaps if you use this 3 or 4 times, it will bump the dates to the correct one for you. That would be my best recommendation.
      4. Hi, is there a way that the Sermon Builder timeline layout could have the sermon date at the end of the week instead of the beginning? Let me explain, we have home groups that are given in advance the portion of scripture I will be covering that upcoming Sunday, for us it is where those in the Body get the opportunity to read, study and form insight before Sunday's message. We often have a few of the group leaders share what their group found and it becomes part of the message. So if there was an option to have the radial calendar reflect that process it would help me as I plan out the year per quarters.
        1. I am new to Logos, but have been wondering the same thing. Another option would be switching it to a day instead of weekly so if you are preping multiple sermon you could add them in... following.
        2. A case we have on our roadmap is to be able to tell Sermon Manager what day of the week you want to start the week from. The thought would be like the following screenshot where you could decide where the week should start from rather than the program deciding for you. Would this properly solve the request you have? If so, while I don't have an exact timetable for this but can see what I can do in order to get it pushed up in the priority.
      5. Can we add topics to the Sermon Manager? I am importing sermons from *.docx and filling in the topics meta data. I find many(!) topics I cannot include. Example: effectual call versus universal call ["whosoever will" versus Romans 8:29 where all who are called end up in glory].
        1. This is something our development team has recently been working on and will be arriving in an upcoming update. Thanks for pointing this out and we look forward to getting it out here soon.
      6. Is there a way to add user defined "topics" in Logos 10? We categorize our sermons into 3 separate buckets and I'd like to be able to add which category each sermon is in the topics field so they can be searchable.
        1. This is actually something our dev team has been working on recently. Keep an eye out for version number 25.0 upon its release later this Spring.
      7. Did something happen to Sermon Manager? When I open it, it gets stuck and glitches constantly. When I click on something, it takes about 15 seconds for it to respond.
        1. Oddly enough, I "Rolled Back" my graphics driver just now in Windows 11. And now, the Sermon Manager is working perfectly. Is there a known issue with the "Intel Iris Xe Graphics" adapter?
        2. Keith, Thanks for helping us pinpoint where the potential issue may reside. I'm going to share this with the development team and get their thoughts on the matter. I'll be back in touch when I know more.
