What does it mean to be kind to Jesus in this latter day? We cannot see Jesus. He is not living among us. In Matthew 25:40 Jesus said, "Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me." In Mar 12:31 He said, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” So what does this mean? Who is our neighbor? Who are His brethren? What does it mean to "be kind?" Kind can be defined many different ways and each source will state it differently from a different angle. Listen in to this lesson as we reference the Bible for our definition of "Kind."

The finish; the completion; the point at which we can call something, "done" is a well celebrated moment. It's great to start a project, start a race or start a business. However the start means absolutely nothing unless it is finished. In a race, many start out running too fast and some start out too slowly. Those that run too slowly may seem to never gain any ground toward the goal and run the risk of losing the belief that they can finish. Those that start out too quickly will tire out early, be unable to finish, or lose enthusiasm. Our Chirstian race is comparable to such an endurance race! Any success story means there was "fire" in someone's bones, a driving enthusiasm that compelled action. This is how God's words affected His prophet Jeremiah. They lighted a burning "fire" in his bones that forced him to deliver God's message even when he had decided the job was too hard, and the leaders of the people were persecuting him. Why speak when no one would hear? But Jeremiah was pledged to obey, and even when he tried to keep silent, he couldn't. He HAD to keep his promise; he HAD to speak God's message.
