• In BBH 16.19.3 the rationale for the "missing" dagesh forte is that the second root letter is a guttural. However in the ifs, 3mp and 2mp of the verb nasa' (nun-samekh-ayin), isn't the second root letter the samekh with the first root letter being a nun that has assimilated? If so, then it is unclear why the samekh does not have a dagesh forte
    1. In BBH section 16.12-13 regarding Geminates - why is the same word (sabab) used as an example of both Type 1 and Alternate Type 2? Are there specific situations where Type 1 is used for the same word rather than Alternate Type 1?
      1. In 9.15 of Basics of Biblical Hebrew - is the accent on the first syllable of the 1cs and 2ms forms for (ayin path me) people? The lecture by Gary Practico sound like the accent is on the first syllable
        1. Is an accent also needed for the 2fs (your brothers) since the diphthong is one syllable and is already the last syllable?
          1. In section 9.9 of Basics of Biblical Hebrew - was it necessary to put an accent on the 2fs form (your brother) since the last syllable heth, hireq, yod, kaph already forms a single syllable and is the last syllable?
