Isaiah 40:9English Standard VersionGo on up to a high mountain, O Zion, herald of good news; lift up your voice with strength, O Jerusalem, herald of good news; lift it up, fear not; say to the cities of Judah, “Behold your God!”
Notice how Paul seems to echo this in his Ephesians "armor of God" poem. "Feet fitted with the gospel (good news) of peace"
Isaiah 52:7The Lexham English BibleHow delightful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace, who brings good news, who announces salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns as a king.”

John 19:20English Standard VersionMany of the Jews read this inscription, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Aramaic, in Latin, and in Greek.
I have no idea how he had enough strength to carry his cross even a block at this point, after the flogging and all.
John 19:17English Standard Versionand he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha.
Maybe an ultimate low point for the religious leaders. A denial of the longing for a messiah.
John 19:15English Standard VersionThey cried out, “Away with him, away with him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar.”
