    1. Looking at this again today. I include this text with verses 22 and 23. It makes it personal for me. I feel I am the stone the builders rejected and made a cornerstone (in many areas of my life). When I think of how many people refer to this scripture, they seem to only look at the actual day in which they are speaking - just being glad that God gave us another day. While we should be grateful for every moment, this text is referring more to the specific thing that God did for that person that day - and they are recognizing and giving Him praise for it.
    2. I think you are making a good connection with the rejected stone and "this is the day". And that "the day" is in reference to a specific day that something has happened... What does happen if you can say? I believe something gets ushered in on that day + there is a NT parallel (//) Anyone else in here to add to the conversation.
    3. That day is when Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus is the ultimate cornerstone that was rejected. Jesus referred to this Psalm in one of His parables but the Psalm itself refers to Isaiah 8 which tells of how the "stone" would be treated.
