• Sharing Your Faith

1 Peter 3:15 We are encouraged to sanctify God in our heart and be ready to give an answer to everyone of the hope that is within us with meekness and fear.

Much of what is taught about sharing our faith deals with the process. We are told what to say, how to say it as if there is a rational argument for what we believe. Lets face it, if people came to know God simply because of a compelling information, wouldn't the critics of Jesus have come to know him? There is no right or wrong way to share your faith. Faith must be shared from a heart that is in tuned with God.

It is a heart issue. When God has the chief place in our heart, sharing who he is to us is easier. I didn't say easy, just easier. God's place in our heart becomes the catalyst or motivation for sharing our faith. If you don't have faith you cannot share it. It is out of our connection to God that we share effectively to others. If you want to share your faith, you must first understand your own relationship to God because sharing your faith is a heart issue .
