    Please pray for the Stanina Family from Nashwauk. Their home burned in a fire tonight. There are three kids in the family, the two oldest of which have been on our release time program. Two of the students received burns and are being taken to the hospital for treatment.

      Please pray for Rick Wright's family. Rick's niece Ginae has been put on life support and with no detection of brain wave activity. Tomorrow, they will remove life support. It is likely that she will pass shortly thereafter. Please pray for their family as they grieve.

        John Brison passed away last night. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday January 21. Visitation at 10:00, funeral at 11:00.

              Prayer request from Dan Phipps. My younger brother has cancer. Right now he is in Abbott Northwestern fighting for his life. He's on a plethora of antibiotics. He has a rare bacteria in his blood called gemella, which is serious and often fatal. MSSA and pseudomonas in his lungs. He's a fighter, has great faith God.

                My Friends are Missionaries from Grand Rapids in Ukrainian!(Phil & I are Classmates) Please pray for them & Ukraine! He posted this update: Hello everyone! We are currently SAFE at home in Krivoy Rog. Awakened at 5:30 AM our time with the news of what was taking place here in Ukraine. EDITED: The US State Department is recommending that we shelter in place, so we are considering that option as well. There were attacks all over the country, including a military base on the edge of Krivoy Rog (remember our city is 80 miles long, so it was quite far from us). Currently, we are finishing our packing - and have a few other important things to take care of today. The earliest we would leave is Friday, depending on how things look here. We will decide tonight or in the morning - and communicate our plans. A 12-hour drive (under normal conditions) to the Romanian border will be challenging with more people on the roads heading west, but that is our best option. There are missionaries in Romania who have offered to host us for a time, so we will have a place to stay there if we do go there. It grieves us to think of leaving our beloved Ukraine and her precious people. Thanks to the many who have sent personal notes. We will reply when we can to notes or comments here, but our focus is elsewhere right now. We appreciate your prayers. Our other colleagues have either left or are in the process of leaving.

                  Please pray for Naomi Blomberg's dad, Tim. He is hospitalized with covid, pneumonia, extremely low oxygen levels and possible pulmonary embolism. They have decisions to make regarding treatment, ventilator use, etc. Thanks for praying for him and the family.....her mom, Sharon, also has covid...
