      Reasons for Boasting
Text - 1 Corinthians 9:12-18 Big idea: Paul gave up his right to be supported as an apostle by the Corinthians because he wanted his only pride to be in preaching the gospel freely. Main Points: 1. Paul's Rights Surrendered (v. 12-14) 2. Paul's Reason for Boasting (v. 15-18) Note from pastor: As I’ve been studying this passage, I’ve been really challenged by Paul’s heart. He had every right to be supported as an apostle, but he gave that up—not because he had to, but because he didn’t want anything to get in the way of the gospel. He wasn’t focused on what he deserved—he just wanted to make Jesus known. That’s a good reminder for us. In a world where we’re often encouraged to stand up for our rights, Paul shows us a better way: lay down our rights if it helps someone hear about Christ. Let’s be people who don’t boast in what we’re entitled to, but in the privilege of sharing the gospel freely.

        A Good Example
Series: 1 Corinthians Title: A Good Example Text: 1 Corinthians 9:1-12 Pastor Jordan Hines Note From Pastor 1 Corinthians 9:1–12 reminds us that serving the Lord sometimes means setting aside our personal rights for the sake of the Gospel. Paul shows us that true ministry is not about what we can gain, but what we can give to help others know Christ. Even when we deserve recognition or reward, our greatest joy is found in faithfully fulfilling the calling God has placed on our lives. This passage encourages us to persevere in humble service, trusting that God sees and honors our sacrifices. Let us be inspired to live selflessly, knowing that eternal rewards far outweigh temporary hardships. Main Points 1. Paul's Defense (v. 1-3) 2. Paul's Rights Deferred (v. 4-7) 3. Paul's authority (v. 8-12)

The Heart of Our Heavenly Father
Public Scripture Reading: Luke 15:1-10 Note From Pastor: Father's stand as the bedrock of the christian home. They are the differnce between a childhood filled with stability and one filled with volatility. Fathers lead by example in the areas of faith, love, and compassion. Good, Godly fatherhood is a real-life picture of our heavenly father. Today we will hear a parable from Jesus that speaks to the heart of our heavenly father. It is my prayer as your pastor that each and every home in this church would be lead by a Godly father who demonstrates the principles found in the passage we will study today. Sermon information: Series - Father's day Title - The Heart of Our Heavenly Father Text - Luke 15:11-32 Big Idea: Reconciliation with the Father Comes by Grace Alone Main points: 1. The Context (v. 1-2) 2. The Parable of the Lost Sheep (v. 3-7) 3. The Parable of the Lost Coin (v. 8-10) 4. The Parable of the Lost Son (v. 11-32)
