Barnabas is given first place and Paul Second Place, with Barnabas seen as Jupiter, the head or king of the Latin or Roman Pantheon of Gods, Paul seen as Mercury or the messenger God.

- Christians do not worship mortals as God either. This was the Pantheistic Romans who were desiring to worship Barnabas and Paul. The Bible does show the proper response to those who try to worship a Christian who allows God to work through them.

- Thank you Brenda. Tis verse reminds us of the many times God records the actions of man which displeases God. In this case, He also records the proper response to an action displeasing to God.
