Dear NRCC Family, This is Easter Week for Christians all over the world. Christ is risen! He is risen indeed! In our little corner of the world we'll be celebrating Jesus life, death and Resurrection in the following Services: Wednesday night Youth 6:30-8:15 Men 7pm (NO Pioneer Club or Ladies group) Maundy Thursday Service (Communion and Feetwashing) 7pm Good Friday Service @ N. Topsail Shores Baptist Church, 7pm Easter Sunrise Service, 6am at Beach Access #2 (2950 Island Dr., N. Topsail). Attached is the Order of Service for the Sunrise Service and the song lyrics and youtube links for the songs. Resurrection Day Services, 8:30am and 10:45am. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt after the 10:45 Service. Like anything else, the more you put into it, the more you'll get out of it. Hi NRCC Family, As you know, the people of NRCC have a real heart for the people in the villages of Guatemala. We work through an organization called "Give and Teach" which is headed by Pastors Mike and Carol Claypool. We feed hundreds of students through their feeding program. Give and Teach is in the process of developing a property in an area that has no viable source of clean drinking water. Imagine NO SAFE, CLEAN WATER! Dale Prillaman and I are working with Give and Teach and the Rotary Club of Sneads Ferry and Guatemala City to drill a deep well in this mountainous area that could service a population of about 4000 people. Hi NRCC Family! Each year I challenge the people of NRCC to read through the Bible in a year. We're just a couple of days into the new year andyou can still do this! I've attached a couple of flyers to help you do that. The "Bible Reading Plan -whole Bible in one year" is just what it says. You can read through the entire Bible, Old and New Testaments, in a year. Yesterday I learned of another plan to read through the Bible in two years from the Family Research Council. It's arranged chronologically and has a couple of thought or discussion questions online for many of the readings. The website is https://frc.org/Bible if you want to check it out. Attached is another sheet from the Navigators that simply allows you to keep record of what chapters you have read so far. This can help you see what parts of the Bible you have not read yet.
