• Hi, I downloaded/accessed the Intertexuality Highlight palate, but I am not able to locate it inside Logos 6. Do I need to do something for this to show up in my Documents in Logos 6?
    1. If I'm not mistaken, the highlighting palette in itself is probably of little value, as you'll need the Notes, too (they will be indicated with markers that come from this palette). Then turn on the Visual Filter in your bible.
  • I've been working on Archer & Chirichigno's OT Quotations in the NT. As mentioned in the post, I had permission from Moody Press to make this available publicly. My goal is to beef it up with other versions/evidence beyond MT/LXX/NT and also include extra-biblical text where important. Here's a post to the forums with some questions about the PBB and a preview:
    1. KS4J, in your "sources" document, the red circle in Genesis 1.1 is indicative of an "allusion" to Mark 1.1??? Is that because of the English word "beginning"??? At this moment, Dear Fellow, I think that if that is so, then ... I don't agree with you, I myself interpreting that the word "beginning" in both places is merely a coincidence and that no connection or "allusion" was intended. What I would like to do is make a note in my copy; however, that then cuts off my copy from our joint copy ... any ideas, anyone??? *smile* ... Peace!
      1. BTW - Here's a copy of my note .. *smile* ::: Mark 1:1 Milford Charles Murray doubts that this is an allusion to Genesis 1.1
      2. The NET Bible footnote 3 in Mark 1:1 includes: sn The first verse of Mark’s Gospel appears to function as a title: The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. It is not certain, however, whether Mark intended it to refer to the entire Gospel, to the ministry of John the Baptist, or through the use of the term beginning (ἀρχή, archē) to allude to Genesis 1:1 (in the Greek Bible, LXX). The most likely option is that the statement as a whole is an allusion to Genesis 1:1 and that Mark is saying that with the “good news” of the coming of Christ, God is commencing a “new beginning.” Biblical Studies Press. 3. Peace, KS4J! *smile* Thank you so much for your note! I would never have found that particular reference; and I am truly grateful to you for sharing it. I have over 30 resources on Mark 1.1 in my parallel resources; and only this one and one other has this as an allusion. I'm glad that you found it for me, even though I'm not ready to agree at this time that it IS an allusion ... Thanks again!
    2. Is there a summary that provides the key to the various symbols used in the most recent version of these note files? Stars, circles, red, blue, purple etc? It maybe in the discussions below, but I was unable to find it. Thanks
      1. Hi, John. You will find all the info near the bottom of the Intertextuality - Verses file.
