The purpose of this church shall be the advancement of the kingdom of Jesus Christ through public worship of God, preaching of the Gospel, administration of the New Testament ordinances, which are the Lord's Supper and Believer's Baptism, consistent Christian living of its members, efforts of personal evangelism, missionary endeavor, and Christian education.

The Memorial Baptist Church is a member of the North American Baptist Conference. We celebrate a heritage of God including the five Baptist churches of Delmont, Dry Creek, Lake, Parkston, and Tripp. When Memorial Baptist Church was dedicated in 1971, it combined all of the remaining churches under one roof. The Church celebrated 125 years in August of 2018.
