• I have been working through this course for several years now. I am blown away at the depth of this course! Very thankful how the Spirit has used it to go into the depths of my soul. I am getting ready to head into the second half of the course. I hope it doesn't take as long as the first half lol.
    1. I got stopped in previous attempts and hope to finish this class this time in my break in my other online schooling. I just pray that at some point I can pick up the Christian classics more later. It also reminded me that I put read a book on my plans for a reason and am challenged to read even contemporary books that I've not yet ever read. I hope to gain some classics soon though.
      1. This is a great course. I loved I’d.
      2. So, I have to really pick up the pace, but I think I needed this course at this time.
    2. I was challenged by reading more of the Christian classics. Anyone who has a little more experience in them have suggested resources? I am not sure where to begin and I am wanting to get them in a collection.
      1. Gary Thomas has an annotated list of them in his Thirsting for God, but it leaves out many important ones as Foxe's Book of Martyrs and Pilgrim's Progress. There is a list in Goodreads you might want to consider here: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/18337.Timeless_Classics_of_the_Christian_Faith
    3.  — Edited

I must be daft... I can see the link to the document in the "logos documents", but the PD201 readings file only gives me a details page that says I don't have the file... What am I missing? The references file downloaded as an Excel document just fine.
      1. You have to click on "Actions" and "Connect" for the Logos notes file to get access.
    4. Just starting with LOGOs Platinum and the PD201. At first and second glance it offers a lot of answers to things that have come up repeatedly over the years. Looking forward to the Lord's direction and vision forward.
      1. I pray the Lord blesses you and helps you grow as you work through the course. Please post about things you are learning from it!
    5. Would like the notes for the course

I was hoping to find the notes that are mentioned in the course. I'm looking around here but I must be missing something.

      1. You can find them under Bible Study > Logos Documents.
    6. Improvement Suggestion: after segment 5 which encourages us to read spiritual readings in various traditions, why not link to some actual readings in various traditions to get us a flavor. Perhaps introduce briefly works by mystics, intellects, Orthodox, Catholic, allegorical, etc etc
      1. In the Logos Documents there are two files "PD 201 Readings" one is a Note file the other a Notebook file. Can any one explain the difference or if I need both?
        1. Kinda wondering the same thing myself. I’ve pulled both up and don’t remember what I discovered. I find that whole interface confusing and obtuse.
      2. Hello - does anyone use this tool? It seems like a super resource that is underutilized
        1. I just added this course via FL connect. From within my mobile Logos app I was directed to the FL app and suggested to download material. I’m not seeing that (on mobile app). Can anyone add to this? Is there material, just not via mobile app?
          1. That notes file includes notes for all the readings in the course whether or not you own them. It's probably not useful to go through it by itself, but having it will highlight the sections from the resources that are used in the course when you encounter them.
          2. okay so the asterisk does not imply that there are more, "hidden" readings at that particular juncture, then. All reading (suggested) will appear after each segment, so I don't need to hunt for them, then? (thanks for your input btw)
          3. Right, that's correct.
