Personal Note by Pastor Alan
Don't you just love that dog picture! I do, in fact I really like (could say love) dogs. One of the great characteristics is their loyalty to you. You can ignore them, get angry at them, and occasionally get very irritated at them for not being obedient. Yet, through it all they'll remain steadfast loyal to you.
This Sunday in the sermon, we'll see how God can be counted on because He is faithful and steadfast in His love for us. We can be disobedient, rebellious, selfish, and act in many other sinful ways, but God still loves us and is there for us when we come back to Him. All we have to do is simply confess our wrong doing and repent of it and He'll restore us to full fellowship. That's the kind of God we have. Far more loyal than a dog, but sometimes, I think God created dogs so we can see more of Him in our lives. Think about that.
Onward and Upward!
The House/Office Has Been Sold
On Thursday, we sign the papers closing the deal on the house/office as we sold it to the Korean church. They are not moving us out immediately, but we are working on it. We have moved everything out of the loft, pulled the carpet up, and began painting it this week. As soon as we can, we'll lay the floor and then move the furniture into it. We'll keep you updated and if you'd like to help, just let us know at 253-229-3411.
