- The link to application was often petered out to be a bit thin or the principles being so general that I did not find them useful. The details of the text was often good but other commentaries give that and this is not the specialisation of this commentary.
- Incredible research and incredibly digestible comments. The comments sections are actually enjoyable to read and often so well put. From verse and word analysis to the larger structure of the book and theology this book have been very engaging
- I have found the articles written from so many perspectives that without knowing each authors framework in which they develop ethics many of the articles I have turned to are just not that useful for study. Perhaps I was unfortunate in the selection of articles I have turned to. It is still an impressive collection of articles.
- God has quite simply used this book to help me understand Paul's hermeneutic of the law and thus to crystallise a whole aspect of the Christian life. I wish he would do this for the rest of the NT!
