Our Youth will serve breakfast to the homeless at Shammah Outreach in Flint on April 23rd. Youth please plan to meet at the church at 5:30 am to travel to Flint that morning.
Need to take your spouse or significant other on a date? Why not start planning now? There will be childcare provided at the church from 5:30 pm - 9 pm on Saturday, April 30th to help make it a reality for you. To register your kids, contact Pastor Bill. The Youth for Christ spring banquet is on Thursday, April 28, 6:30 pm at the Franklin Inn. RSVP by April 20th to 989-453-3239 for your ticket. Ticket cost is $15/person. A free will offering will be taken to support the ministry of Bluewater Thumb YFC. Honoring the past, celebrating the present and ready for the future.
Passion Week Prayer Path: We will be setting up the Passion Week Prayer Path in the Pigeon Park again this year. Set-up is scheduled for Wednesday, April 6th @ 4:30 pm. Contact Tim Maust or Pastor Dave if you are available to help. There are postcards available at the Welcome Center for you to help spread the word.
Need to order coffee? Our orders will be placed on a regular basis every other month. So please have your order in the box by the first Sunday (Today) of the even months. Pick up will be on the following Sunday.
The Faithfully Fit had the most miles walked yet last week. They posted 6538 minutes of exercise and now have walked over 3000 miles. With another four pounds of weight loss, they have lost 158 pounds as a group. The program wrapped up on Thursday so watch for the final totals to be revealed at the celebration evening on April 20. Everyone is invited to bring a healthy dish to pass (with the recipe to share) to the potluck at 6:00 pm.
Wednesday morning men's breakfast at 1st UMC 7 am. This will be the last until the fall.
The spring concert, "Joy in the House" of the Thumb Community Concert Choir is on Friday night, April 8 @ 7 pm and on Sunday, April 10 @ 3 pm. The free concert will be at the USA High school auditorium. A free will offering will be taken.

What does the refugee resettlement process look like? Learn about the challenges and opportunities refugees encounter when they settle into their new community, and the ways in which churches can get involved.
