Reach the Forgotten Jail Ministry will have their Fundraiser Banquet on May 4th @ 6:30 pm at the Evangel Life Assembly of God Church in Bad Axe. If you want to attend please sign up at the Welcome Desk or contact Ken Dietzel.


Women and Children's Tea Party: Saturday, May 6th @ 9am with

VBS: In just 6 short weeks, we will be hosting VBS at Pigeon River, June 5-9. Our theme is "Babylon: Daniel's Courage in Captivity." Contact Leslie Eberly to volunteer. Spread the word and invite your friends. Registration will open soon. Please fill out the form in your mailbox and return to Leslie ASAP.


Reminder for parents: We have a nursery available during worship for children up to 4 years of age. If you would like to be a volunteer for that ministry please let us know! Elementary children -Sr. High age youth are invited to volunteer and be put into the schedule to serve with an adult, otherwise we kindly ask parents to keep their elementary children with them during the service. Thank you.


Congratulations to the Temples Team for winning the Faithfully Fit competition by losing the most weight and exercising the most hours. But the Thumb Warriors won the Spiritual Goal competition by having 2 more weeks of spiritual goals completed than their opponents. You can check out the display to see how well the teams did. Individual winners in the weight category were Brandon Yowler, Matthew McIntosh, Denny Weidman, and Jonna Simmons. Those with the most hours of exercise were Matthew McIntosh, Darrel Yoder and Denny Weidman. Congratulations to the eleven people who completed their spiritual goals each week: Dale Yoder, Dave Maurer, Emily Maust, Joanna Simmons, Michael Swathwood, Pat Anderson, Bill Eberly, Denny Weidman, Kim Swartzendruber, Matthew McIntosh, and Tracey Potter. Actually everyone who worked at improving their physical and spiritual health was a winner!
