Women and Children's Tea Party: Next Saturday, May 6th @ 9am with Guest Speaker: Elaine Maust. Tickets: are $10/ adult, $5/ child (5-12), & 4 and under free. Contact Beth Maurer for details.
VBS: In just 5 short weeks, we will be hosting VBS at Pigeon River, June 5-9. Our theme is "Babylon: Daniel's Courage in Captivity." Contact Leslie Eberly to volunteer. Spread the word and invite your friends. Registration will open soon. Please fill out the form in your mailbox and return to Leslie ASAP.
Reminder for parents: We have a nursery available during worship for children up to 4 years of age. If you would like to be a volunteer for that ministry please let us know! Elementary children -Sr. High age youth are invited to volunteer and be put into the schedule to serve with an adult, otherwise we kindly ask parents to keep their elementary children with them during the service and take advantage of our activity bags and children's bulletins. Thank you.
The Thumb Breadbasket was recently awarded for their superb food distribution efforts. Much thanks goes to Gary Willey, Rhonda Buehler, Kayla Gnagey, Nancy Wolfe and the many more volunteers that make this outreach a reality! You may read the full article from The View on the bulletin board.

Mission 101 There are envelopes in the Fellowship Room to support missions. Take an envelope and donate the amount listed on the front (for example, the person who chooses envelope #5 will donate 5 dollars or more). This system allows all church members and ages to participate is a way that works for them. Please return your envelopes by Sunday, May 21st so that we can send the money to RI in one check.
Positive Alternatives will have their Open house on two different dates. Caro's will be May 5th, 3-6 pm and in Bad Axe on May 12th, 3-6 pm. Please take the time to visit on one of those dates and see how they are ministering in our community.
Youth for Christ will have their Golf Scramble Fundraiser on May 17th. Registration deadline is May 5th. Contact the YFC office to register @ 989-453-3239.
