Holidays can be especially hard for those who have recently lost a loved one. Pigeon River Mennonite Church is offering a one-session seminar on Tuesday, December 3, from 12-2 pm. Surviving the Holidays will give the participants ideas and tools to help them navigate this season of their grief. It will start with a meal provided by Scheurer Health at noon and will include a video and discussion time. Please contact Diane Wilson to register.


Clothe-A-Child of Huron County is a program to provide clothing for children at Christmas. If you want to participate please see the bulletin board for more info.


We are still in need of soup contestants. Please sign up at the Welcome Center.


The Mennonite Youth Choir Festival is March 1 & 2, 2025 in Berne, IN. Registration is open for children who love to sing—grades 3 through 9. Here is the link. If you have/plan to register, please let the office know.


The Relief/Missions Committee will be packing Christmas treat bags for our primary dept. children, our senior (65 and up) and inmates at the Huron County jail. Individually wrapped homemade cookies and treats or store-bought cookies & candy are needed to fill approximately 135 bags. If you would like to contribute, please leave your items on the table in the Fellowship room by Saturday, December 14th @ 9 am. Thank you for giving generously as we bless those around us!


Hunger Relief meeting, tomorrow, December 2nd @ 7 pm. All are welcome to attend the fall wrap-up meeting of 2024 harvest year.

Missions/Organization

· RI - Mediterranean, Judah & Reyna, Over 100,000 displaced people in this couple’s city are still living in temporary containers a year after a devastating earthquake. Pray that safe, permanent housing could be provided quickly so these people would be able to return to “normal” life. Pray also against the remaining fear of earthquakes, which was rekindled with a 6.0 earthquake in October.

US/World
