Thumb Breadbasket is looking for a hospitality host/hostess to prepare and serve hot beverages to our volunteers during the cold months. If interested, please contact Kayla Gnagey. 


The Men's Prayer Breakfast at the First UMC in Pigeon meets the first Wednesday of each month November - April. Come and enjoy fellowship and food with other community guys. The first one for the season will be on Wednesday, November 5th at 7 am.


Soup Cookoff & Auction: Mark your calendars for December 3rd and join us for our annual soup cook-off and auction. More details to follow. In preparation for the event, we welcome donations of themed gift baskets, hand crafted items, and baked goods for the auction.


Senior Event Sunday, November 23

Please join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship! We will have a soup and sandwich lunch in the fellowship hall at noon and then travel together to the USA HighSchool to enjoy The Musical Scrooge. We will purchase our tickets at the door. Please RSVP to Deb Weidman by November 16th.


Here is the latest update to our schedule for Wednesday night: Children's & youth classes, young couples class, adult choir & adult Bible Study, 6:45-7:30 pm. The adult Bible study will be led by Elaine Maust & Glenn Maust.

The Top-of-the-Thumb Leisure Ministries invites everyone to attend the final program of the season “An Evening in Song” featuring many local singing groups. The program will be held on Sunday, November 9th at the St. Paul Global Methodist Church, 150 S. Main St., Elkton, commencing at 6:00pm.    A free will offering will be taken to support Thumb Leisure Ministries. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome.  


Are you missing a food container? Check out the metal rack in the Fellowship Hall and claim your item. The church kitchen is down-sizing of unused items. You are welcome to take anything from the table if you can use it.
